#3 If I were a knight, I would have enjoyed was fighting off other people. I would disliked being stabbed or something because I would die, and no longer would be a knight. It would be fun to do the joust against other knights. I would dislike taking orders because I usually don't like taking and following orders from other people.
What would you like about being a knight? Well, I would like to save my country and get all the props. Like the house for my contribute to the king. What would you dislike? I would dislike the over props. I don't mind the praise and fighting but over praise drives me crazy. It is not just me fighting and if I did something good but had help it would just be me being prasied. What about everyone else that helped and saved the people. All the people talking about you also could resault in a bad rumor. Or the houses what if we got more than one house. I'm not into the whole you will obae me and do as I say. They have lifes to. But really there is good and bad. You get your way but you can also get over confedent and die in battle or over anyioed in the praising.

1. What advantages would there be to the vassal rather than a lord? the vassal gets a piece of land given to them rom the lord. the lord is a medival nobles.
Critical Thinking Question #3: One thing I would have liked about being a knight would have been that everyone would trust me with their lives and respect me. People would give me amazing gifts and presents. I would have also enjoyed having a page help me with all my work like helping me take care of my destriers. But, that would also be my downfall. All of this would be great, but for me... it would start to get annoying. I would be so nervous having everyones trust me to fight off the "bad guy", because if I lost, people would be dissapointed in me. Also, having a creepy little page boy taking care of my horses would make me nervous the horse would kick him or something. And taking orders and stabbing someone isn't my calling. But, I possibly could handle it. Maybe...
what i would like to do if i were a knight is 1.I'd like to kill people and 2.I'd like to plan to over throw my king because that happend a lotin the middle ageswhat i youd have diss liked is that in a war in witch my castle was being besieged because3 then i might not get a relife force any time soonand that could end bad for me.
#3 If I were a knight I would like the fact that I could do what ever I wanted. I wouldn't like being sent to battle at anytime though. That would kind of stink if someone could do that to me. But there's always that little thing about me being in control of others that I like.
SHANE C. 5-25-'07 HISTORY C.T.Qs. Ms. fletcher, i'm gonna answer the #3 critical thinking question.
i think that i would have enjoyed the part of being a knight that i got paid- but that's like anything else. the part i'd really like is working for a king because i'd be known & possibly famous even if i AM a nobody! The part i wouldn't like is the part where i'd have to kill people, that'd kind of be gross. sorry, but i can't go on with these run-on sentances. PEACE OUT YALL!
Critical Thinking Question #3. The things i would of liked being being a knight would be....U would get respect from people because u protect them. Also you could fight them off.lol. The things i would of disliked would be havin' to protect some people I really don't like.
What kind of advantages would there be to being a vassal rather then a lord? The lord's can to things that vassal's can not do and vassal's can go see their family's when they get food for their family.
The advantages of being a vassal rather than being a lord is that a vassal served a lord of a higher rank so inb return, the lord protected the vassal. Another advantage of being a vassal is that when a vassal promised to serve his lord loyalty and service, the lord gave his vassal a fief. ~Kristina. E~
River Demarco history criticle thinking 5-25-07 1.The advantages of being a vassle enstead of a lord would be that since the vassle works and shows loyolty to the lord witch would give him a fief if he did so, and the lord would get nothing from his king. 2.A woman provided medicle care to the fief becaese she cuold not go to war and there would be a lot of ingered men to care for. Also it was a job.
(Danny)Critical Thinking Question #3: The thing that I would've liked about being a knight back in feudal times would be that I would've liked the fact that I had someone to shine my armor for me. The thing that I wouldn't have liked would be that I would get far too much attention and stuff like that.
(Natalie)Critical Thinking Question #3: If I was a knight,I would have enjoyed the fact that I could boss people around because I'm so powerful. I would have disliked the fact that I would have to fight for a certain person.I love my freedom.
(Natalie) Critical thinking Question #1: The advantages that there would be to being a vassal rather than a lord is you get a fief to protect. A vassal only has to be in battle for his Lord one to two months a year. That's not very long. Also, a vassal had the right to govern people inside his fief. Vassals were trusted, which was important for the Lord.
(Danny) Critical thinking Question #1: The advantages of being a vasssal rather than a lord would be that you don't have as much of a responsibility, such as commanding a whole country. Also, vassals aren't as hated by other townsmen, because they didn't make the laws to be hated for.
The advantages of being the vassle and not the lord is that you do not have to do all that work. Lords have parties and having to know everyone in the room and paper work. All the vassles need to do is watch the slaves and make sure they are doing their work. I would love to see other people do work rather than me, well if it was not fun. Lords have work and meetings and plays and everything else. Vassles get houses just for giving their time to the lord. Vassles are terated with repect from the lord and the lord really does not have anyone above them to prasise them. When a vassles is prasised it is a great honnor because lords are higher on the food chain and if the vasslse prase the lord it is not the same.
Hey everyone, it's me, once again. I just wanted to let everyone know that the 1st thing i wrote on here(you know, the one yhat says: critical thinking #3) was just a mis-hap, that pretty much is the nice way of saying shut up about it! I'm not completely sure if this site is only for school subjects or just to spread messages around to everyone, so I'm just gonna find out from ms. Flether on tuesday, but until then, I'll just write about whatever i can think of! PEACE OUT YALL!
Caleb, I'm bothered by what you said, "what i would like to do if i were a knight is 1.I'd like to kill people." I'm not sure if you're trying to be shocking or what. I am considering pulling your comment, because it comes across that you would like killing for killing's sake--not something that is condoned or encourage in school, let alone in civilized societies.
Hey, Caleb, what the heck!? Why'd you say you want to kill people? If you have these feelings, consider SOLITARY CONFINEMENT! Just jokin', i know you're a good kid! But still, don't put those thoughts out into society, you can actually get in lots of trouble for that stuff! My main point of this is that you better not have any plans about killing me because if you do, I'll find out- just to let you know, I'll get to you before you get to me if it's a life threatening issue. Once again, just jokin', I know you're a good kid & that you'd never kill anybody! PEACE OUT!
Geeze, Caleb, this is an assignment, not a time to talk about killing. We're still in school. (note that this is a school blog!) You're supposed to say school-apprpriate things to why you'd like being a knight. This is for school points, you know.

3. I would have enjoyed learning to ride a horse well while fighting on it at the same time. Another good thing about becoming a knight is that you would learn how to handle many different weapons correctly. However, I don't think I would find killing people enjoyable (Caleb).
4. A serf's life would become easier after the improved farming methods of the thirteenth century wre invented because they would not have to work so hard in the fields and they wre still guaranteed room and board (however bad it was).

Dear Ms. fletcher
I think it would be so cool to be a knight because it would be so cool to have other people do your work for you.
