Which comes first... thoughts or emotions?

Here's something I've asked you about before... which comes first--thoughts or emotions? Does one trigger the other? If you control your thoughts, do you control your emotions? Or vice versa: if you control your emotions do you control your thoughts?

Let me know! ~Ms. Fletcher

Like I said before, I think that thoughts come before emotions, because emotions come from thoughts, because most emotions are just in your head, and your thoughts created the emotion. Take fear as an example. if you're afraid of the dark, it's probably because you think something might get you, or something bad is going to happen while you're in the dark. The thought of something bad happening created fear, which is an emotion.

Sometimes, I think emotions come first. But, sometimes, when I think about a thought for a while, I start to gather more feelings. But other times, I think they occur at the same time. Like, well, I gotta go, I'll finish later.

Yeah, you know, Danny is right. It makes sense. But, as I was saying, it seems like they occur at the same time because, most of, well, actually, none of the time, I payattention to what comes first, so it just seems like it. Later

I think that thoughts come before emotions, Ms. Fletcher, because you have to think about what emotion you want to feel, and how you wnat to react to a situation first. There's my input. Hope you like it!

I agree with Shay, but sometimes things make me react very quickly, which then makes me blurt out things that were supposed to stay inside my little cranium. which then makes me think about what just happened, and then I start to feel bad. So, technically, it can go either way. Later
